Kathy Laidlaw has run the gamut of experience from marketing Jose Cuervo tequila to High Tech Marketing and starting three businesses. A Southern California beach community native, she has been employed in the Entertainment, Airline, Insurance, Hospitality and Market Research industries. In 2011, Kathy started GiveTeens20, a non-profit corporation whose mission is to encourage and equip teens with no-cost tools and resources to help them find their career ‘fit’. She has been married for 33 years and has one son who spent four years in the United States Marine Corps and is now a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Her son is the “Why” behind GiveTeens20.

Dr. Geeta Kadambi is the Founder and Principal of Riddhi IP. She has a distinguished background with a PhD in Biochemistry, and has accumulated a breadth of scientific and patent law experience in government, public and private organizations. She is an USPTO registered Patent Agent. She serves as an advisor on many accelerators and venture capital firms to evaluate intellectual property for their members. She is a former Patent Examiner at the USPTO and was a Senior Technologist at NASA Ames, where she won two Space Act Awards for her inventions at NASA. She is passionate about serving humanity and giving back as a Rotarian. She is specifically interested in alleviating preventable blindness and looking forward to working with Rotarians worldwide to achieve this goal.

Linea McPherson is the owner of Mind Body Zone in Fremont. She teaches, Yoga, Pilates and Reformer classes. She also teaches at 6 different Tech companies in the Bay Area. She is passionate about working with her clients and encourages them on their path to wellness.
Linea is President of Northern California Animal Rescue Friends; a nonprofit organization that rescues animals from research facilities, as well as sick and injured animals from local shelters. Her organization networks with other rescue groups and shelters throughout California when there are emergencies and assistance is needed with supplies or relocating animals.
She was raised in a family that believed strongly In volunteering and serving others. She looks forward to working with her fellow Rotarians and serving our community.

Ahsan Baig is a seasoned executive, currently leading a technology organization in the major public transit agency in San Francisco Bay Area. He is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all IT investments, including innovation, digital transformation, infrastructure modernization, and cybersecurity framework. Ahsan has over 27 years of private and public sector Information Technology experience, leading and managing high-performing teams in critical, high-visibility projects. Ahsan earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics and master’s degree in Electronics from the University of Karachi, Pakistan; and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the City College, City University of New York (CUNY).
Mr. Baig lives with his wife and two sons in Fremont and spent his spare time in community education programs and youth empowerment projects. He is an active member of IEEE, APTA, and CTA. He is a public speaker and has published research and technical papers in various journals and magazines.

is a Senior Product Executive in the industry and specializes in Artificial Intelligence, and is passionate about AI for Good and driving ethical AI. Mamta enjoys coaching and mentoring many peers and students in the hi-tech industry and was on the steering committee of eBay Women in Technology and ran the Kohl’s women in technology for the west coast. Through Rotary she strives to contribute to the ecosystem from where we all consume. Mamta lives in Fremont with her husband of 23 years, and her two teenaged sons.




Ranjana is an accomplished Internal Medicine physician. She is the Medical Director of the Team Health hospitalist group at Kindred Hospital. She is also Medical Director at the Fremont Health Care facility. A leader with a proven track record of team building and management strategizing to improve quality metrics for the hospital helping them achieve several gold and silver awards amongst 80 Kindred hospitals across the US. She has served in several Leadership positions at Kindred Hospital. She is a former VP of the Medical executive committee, a Chair Ethics committee member, co-chair patient safety committee, member of the Utilization Committee and Quality Committee. While serving in these committees, she collaborated with the hospital leadership team to develop policies, compliance, implementing measurable improvements in operational structure.
She also served collaborating with administrative team emergency preparedness plans for the hospital. Her Education includes a Fellowship in the Hospitalist Leadership IPC/UC San Francisco program and an Internal Medicine Residency in Hospital affiliated with UC Davis and UMDNJ. She received her MD degree in G.R. Medical College, India. Her professional affiliation includes the American College of Physicians and Society of Hospital Medicine. Ranjana loves spending time with her family. Her passions include painting, music, chess, hiking, running and of course serving the community. She recently completed her first half marathon in 2020.
